This month begins with an entry that made an appearance just before a storm, and that's a good metaphor.  Press the shutter button and get the image before the storm, hearing the thunder rolling around you and attuning your senses to the lightning strikes all around.  Hone in on the fragility and the beauty of the flower, will it be there twenty minutes from now or washed away in the storm?  What needs to be accomplished in the next few instants?  How important is that in comparison to what a lightning strike can deal?  The earth around was parched from a sudden drought and from a week of high temperatures, harsh conditions, tough.  We needed

Arrived on scene with the help of my wonderful brother, Matt, and the urging of friends.  So I'll be building this up as I go, and hope we like it.  I plan to begin with some photographs and add visual/fine art as I go. Please do interact.  It won't change my art, no fear there, but there's no point coming on here for silence, lol.  I'll probably revise and edit as I go, and as I become familiar with the site.  A big life change brought me here, and I'm full of excitement as well as all the other whatnots, wherefores and what-the-hecks that accompany that!  But that's always awesome grist for the artistic mill, eh.
